     Old News: GCS Superintendent Honored
Posted on Sunday, November 10 @ 21:19:09 EST by Matt

You know I have to plug our FANTASTIC school system! Sometimes people tend to give Gaston County Schools the short end of the stick, just because we're not as big or flashy as Charlotte-Mecklenburg...but occasionally people see us for what we really are....a great school system that puts kids' education first!

Our outstanding superintendent Dr. Ed Sadler was just announced North Carolina's Superintendent of the Year! This is the link to the article that appeared in the Gaston Gazette. You go Big Ed! We're proud of you!

Judy Moore (a PROUD GCS school administrator!)

My hat is off to "Big" Ed. GCS just doesn't get enough credit. As a teacher for Gaston County nobody gets enough credit. The bottom line being, we are the ones that make a difference.
